Erin Knauer, LISW

Owner of Silver Lining Counseling

Erin’s approach is both direct and empathetic. She believes in working collaboratively with clients to create a supportive and compassionate environment. Her therapeutic methods are client-centered and will vary based on client needs. Some methods she uses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), meditation, and guided imagery.

Sarah Claybaker, LMSW

Sarah’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and evidence-informed. She provides gender-affirming care and creates a space where clients feel safe exploring their identity and sense of belonging. Therapy with Sarah is both insightful and practical, focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and real-life tools that fit your nervous system. Sarah works with individuals ages 10 and up who feel stuck, stressed, or overwhelmed. As a neurodivergent therapist, she understands ADHD, sensory overload, and executive functioning challenges.

Makenna Wade, CADC

Intern

Makenna provides clients with a warm, nonjudgmental, and deeply validating space where they feel seen, heard, and understood. Her approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect for each client’s lived experience. She believes healing begins when people feel safe enough to explore their emotions, patterns, pain, and strengths without fear of being dismissed or misunderstood. Makenna helps clients build self-awareness, develop coping skills, reconnect with their values, and move toward a more authentic and empowered version of themselves.
